November Knight of the Month – Joe Kubilis

Joe participates at all our activities and you can usually see him selling tickets.
… He also greets everyone on Sunday mornings at the doors, takes up the
collection and distributes the bulletinsafter mass. Joe sits on our executive as
the Council Warden.

November Family of the Month – Patton Family

Brian, Janet and family have always helped at all our events with 4 young
children including a newborn. Janet is a member of the Catholic Women’s
League. They are also involved with the “Retrouvaille” program to help troubled
marriages. The Patton Family will do whatever they can to help and their
efforts are well respected within thecommunity and at IHM.

Congratulations for being Family of the Month

Walk ins Welcomed! December 22, 2011, 2:30pm-7:30pm. This is the year for Family and friends, but also for an increase in traffic accidents and blood. Please give.

Kids Christmas Party with Santa Claus is Sunday December 11th at 12 Noon in the Church Hall after 11am Mass. Fun for the kids and a chance to meet Santa Claus. Bring your Holiday Spirit with you.

In The News…Upcoming Events to finish off 2011 include a Pasta Dinner (Dine in or take out) on Friday November 25th, Knights General Meeting at 7:30pm in the Parish Hall on December 6th, Kid’s Christmas Party after 11am Mass on December 11th and the Blood Donor Clinic starting at 2pm on December 22nd. Knights remember to hand in your Survey of Fraternal Activities Sheet by year’s end. The Knight of the Month was our Warden, Joe Kubilis and the Family of the Month were the Patton’s.

Pierogi Dinner is next Friday in the Church Hall. Dine In or Take Out. Starts at 3pm.

Enjoy Pierogies, Kielbasa, Saurkraut, Onions, Dessert and Coffee.

In The News…The Knights Golf Tournament on Sept 18th in Mount Hope brought a great turn out and great weather. Thanks to Guy Brucculeri and the many Knights who helped put on this event again, See you all Next Year!!…The Blood Donor Clinic was as a great success with 50 Donations last month, we are getting bigger and better…Knights of Columbus next General Meeting is Tuesday October 4th in the Church hall at 7:30pm…The Pierogi Dinner is Friday October 14. Dine in or Take Out, starting at 3:00pm at the Parish Hall. Roses will be given away after the Masses on the Weekend of Oct15-16th.  Knight of the Month for September and October were Rick Lezon and Guy Brucculeri and The Family of those Month’s were Gene and Laura Theriault and Tony and Daniella Giannini.

Thank you to all the Knights and their families who helped at the Parish Picnic this past Sunday.  Upcoming Events include the Installation of Officers on August 31st at St. Francis Xavier. Regular Mass is at 7 pm with Installation at 7:45 pm followed by a Social in the Parish Centre. September 6th commences our Monthly Officers and General Meetings at the Parish. General Meeting is at our regular time of 7:30 pm, with the Officers meeting held before hand at 6:45 pm.Our Welcome back BBQ is Sept 10th at Rick Lezon’s  house. Lastly, Don’t forget to sign up for the Golf Tournament being held on Sept 18th. Contact Guy Brucceleri to sign up and/or sponsor a Hole and donate prizes.
